4K HDR video at 60fps

The MAG544w3 set-top box supports AV1 and HEVC codecs that allow them to play 4K content without overloading the internet connection. While H.264 requires 32 Mbps to process video, HEVC requires only 16 Mbps.

Wired and wireless Internet access

The MAG544w3 is a modified model with a built-in Wi-Fi module.
The MAG544w3 offers two options for connecting to the Internet: a 100 Mbps Ethernet port and a built-in Wi-Fi module. Wireless connectivity works in two bands: 2.4 GHz at speeds up to 100 Mbps and 5 GHz 4 at speeds up to 550 Mbps.

Fast integration via API

Infomir offers its in-house API that makes it easier to integrate content protection systems and software development. You can develop MAG set-top box apps powered by Linux OS such as web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Operators can create middleware client apps, and system integrators can release software for hotels, camps, and cruise ships.
Dolby Digital Plus™ surround sound

Backed by eight-channel Dolby Digital Plus™ audio, you can connect seven audio speakers and a subwoofer to your set-top box. This way, you distribute audio tracks evenly across the space and allow users to enjoy an immersive experience while watching content.

Modern programmable remote controls

The MAG544w3 comes with a programmable IR remote control made of anti-slip ABS plastic. It's durable – each button is designed to withstand 300,000 presses.
You have the option to set up code pages and IR systems. This will configure the remote control to avoid disturbing other devices in the room; or instead, it can control the TV, air conditioner, and other devices equipped with an IR tuner.
USB ports for connecting peripherals

The set-top box comes with two USB 2.0 ports. With these, you can connect various peripherals to the device, such as audio speakers, keyboards, and mice. This makes it much easier to enter text and use the built-in browser.
